A welterweight bout between Matt Brown (11-10 MMA, 4-4 UFC) and Mark Scanlon (7-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will be part of March's UFC on Versus 3 event.

I was a fan of Matt Brown's since he was on TUF. He kicked some really annoying dude in the face and ruined his life. It was awesome. He started his post-TUF career in pretty good fashion, but I am surprised he is back after dropping three straight. He is a warrior though, he gives the fans what they want!

He was never officially released, there were some false reports I think of him getting cut but never happened. And probably because they guy always brings a good fight but will have to win here. He's the exception to the rule.
