It appears David Mitchell will to wait a little while longer for the chance to get his first UFC win. He was scheduled to face Mike Swick at the upcoming UFC Fights For The Troops event but is now off due to a shoulder injury. Swick is also off as well, he's since confirmed there will be no replacement and thus he will not be on the card either. No word on when either fighter will return.

I was talking to Swick on his Facebook about this. I feel sorry for the guy, can't seem to get a break since his loss to Hardy. I really hope he can get back to the level of health he once was in and make a solid comeback.

It seems that Swick may have asked to be removed from the card once Mitchell was off, it'll give him more time to fully recover from his operation. Sounds like this may have been for the best especially if it means he'll be 100% when he does come back.
