A lightweight bout between UFC veteran Spencer Fisher (24-6 MMA, 9-5 UFC) and "The Ultimate Fighter 9" lightweight winner Ross Pearson (11-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) now is official for UFC 127.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) first reported the bout this past month, and UFC officials since have made it official.
UFC 127 takes place Feb. 27 at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, and the night's main card airs on pay-per-view (on Feb. 26 in the U.S. due to time difference).
Fisher vs. Pearson, though, is slated for the untelevised preliminary card.

This fight promises a war on the feet! I'm a big Ross Pearson fan and Fisher always brings it when he fights. This could easily take Fight Of The Night.
I think Pearson has the better skillset on the feet and decent takedown defense if Fisher tries to switch levels. Fisher sometimes commits to the brawls a little too much and eats a lot of damage in later rounds, which Pearson should be able to captalize on. Pearson by decision.

This absolutely has war written all over it! Can't wait. I would love to see The King take this one. Pearson is a tough nut to crack though, and I believe Cole Miller has been the only person in the UFC to do so....
