Middleweights Aaron Simpson and Mario Miranda have reportedly agreed to square off at UFC Fight Night 24.

The event, which has not yet been officially announced by the promotion, is expected to be held at a to-be-named venue in Seattle on March 26. MMA Weekly initially reported the matchup Wednesday.

Simpson is fresh off a defeat to friend and fellow NCAA wrestling standout Mark Munoz at UFC 123 in November. Though the fight was a back-and-forth affair, Munoz generally got the better of the exchanges and earned a unanimous decision over the Power MMA and Fitness product. This marked the second loss of Simpson's career, as just five months earlier he was knocked out by the durable Chris Leben at “The Ultimate Fighter 11” finale. After looking strong in the early going, Simpson tired dramatically as the fight wore on, and the savvy Leben poured it on late in the second to earn the TKO victory.

Can't say that I'm excited for this fight, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it when it comes around. Both guys are solid fighters. Simpon's wrestling will probably be the story of the fight and lead to a decision in his favor.

I must say, I am a fan of the A-Train. He likes to stand and bang and is a powerful grappler. I wouldn't say any of his fights are flashy affairs, just good scraps.

Possible loser leaves even though I thought Miranda signed like a 4 fight contract but another loss would put him at back to back losses.

I like A-train here with striking and wrestling, either a UD or tko, as he likes to throw.
