anyone ever made on??? Due to lack of training partners and the fact that I'm a tight ass, I was considering make one. I figured I could use a old hoodie, and some pants, sew them together and stuff them with more old clothes. I'm not going to use it to punch or kick. Just would like to have something to practice my BJJ here at the house. Arm bars, Triangles ect.

Any one think it would work???

clothes, duct tape, corn meal, it adds weight and still has flexibility, its also a powerful fungicide!

My advise.... Get a friend, and some mats. We use those puzzle-piece mats that pre-schools use, works wonders.
Me and my friend just roll in my back yard for fun.
And me and him starting has made our other friends curious to join us
It's a game for 2 players ;P

already have mats and I have people come over a couple times a week. I just would like to fill in the gaps on the days I don't have any. Tried to get the wife, but that usually knocks me out of my late excersises lol.

Take a look on craigslist to see if someone is selling an old 80lb ish heavy bag. Take off the hardware and you have a bag for slamming and ground and pound. I assume that is what you want it for.

that's cool. For what it's worth, from my perspective (and experience) I don't think it is that useful to practice on an inanimate object. You might as well go through the motions pretending that someone is there (like shadow boxing).

In other words, having sex with a blow up doll will not make one a good lover.

I think what you have in mind will work since it would just be used to practice triangles, armbars and the like, just make sure theyre sewn tight and get a good filling maybe something heavier.

The thing is, upon using it often, it may get loose (arms , legs) and will result to bad technique or breakage. I wouldn't mind buying a submission dummy there's this one you can buy something like an installment. Three months to pay I think. I'm not sure.

I think you're right dude. I have one, submission master grappling dummy. I ordered it from the internet.
I would recommend it to anyone instead of making their own dummy.

Exactly. the arms and legs does not loosen up! don't get me wrong but I too am busy. It always comes in handy when no ones around to train with.
