Life is all about second chances, and that’s what former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez is hoping for with the promotion that helped to put him on the map.

It’s been over seven years since Rodriguez last stepped foot in the UFC Octagon, but he’s never forgot the feeling of holding that gold belt or watching the crowd rise as he pulled off a victory.

Good article with interview, interesting read

I have been expecting Ricco to return to the octagon for some time and I think he would be a great final match up for Couture whenever he decides to step away.

That would be a good way to go out. Part of me says he should just hang it up now, after he chumped James Toney, and leave with one last win. Another part of me says he should go get a W against a competitor.... I don't know.

maybe ricco.............maybe.

timmy...........lemme think for a second......how bout um...........f.u.k. no.

timmy was never really that great, honestly. to compare him to someone now, he is to being tall as lesnar is to being big, once you get figured out for the only advantage you have(oh wait he wrestled......sloppy)......you're done.

as already said before, that would be a great exit fight for brett favre..wait wait i mean randy couture, but i don't see ricco doing things in the ufc at HW or LHW, maybe win a few low caliber fights but nothing more than that. and once again as for timmy. hell no

Considering my Ricco love is common knowledge among playgrounders, I really hope he can make it back to the UFC. He's gone 31-7 since leaving the UFC, though he hasn't beaten any huge name (though I feel he beat Silva, and that was before i knew who he was). I don't think he would ever get gold again, but I would love to see him try.
