This would be a much easier choice if Todd Duffee wasn't such a monsterous dude..... Overeem should destroy him, but his chances aren't terrible! Maybe a 15% chance?

Obviously Barnett would be better. Duffee is not very experienced and never reached contender level, mostly due to getting ko'd and than released for a non related issue...Compared to Overeem's overseas comp lately, Duffee is a good opponent, especially because Duffee seemed to have speed power and potential. I wonder if Duffee has a ground game?

I doubt that it happens but it would be the best opponent Overeem has fought in a while.

I'm pumped for this if it comes to fruition.
Certainly this will be a bout between 2 X factors in the HW division. What I love about it is this gives Duffee a chance to redeem himself win or lose. If he loses but puts up a good scrap he's shown his one big win wasn't a fluke and that he can hang in their with a top HW.
If overeem demolishes him though it does little for the SF champion and further shows Duffee is probably just a flash in the pan. Regardless it still put his name in the "buzz" catagory for at least a while longer. Possibly for a long time if he manages the upset.
Without a doubt its an interesting matchup.

duffee's in serious trouble. im actually kinda pissed to hear that overeem is fighting guys like duffee instead of big names. they keep talking about fedor and big foot fighting, why the hell cant they get the strikeforce champ some goddamn fights? overeem/silva, overeem/werdum, overeem/fedor, overeem/AA? seriously, strikeforce is pissing me off.
