GLENDALE, Ariz. – Eddie Wineland, Shane Roller, Anthony Pettis and Benson Henderson each earned $10,000 "Fight Night" bonuses for their performances at Thursday's WE3 52 event.

Wineland earned the event's "Knockout of the Night" award, Roller picked up the "Submission of the Night" bonus, and Pettis and Henderson earned "Fight of the Night" honors.

Was that kick legal? I guess I don't see how it is. You can't grab the cage to defend, so how can you use it for strikes?

Exactly. It's not like he gripped the cage with his toes or anything. That would be pretty difficult. You'd need like monkey toes or something.

You can touch the cage. You can bounce of the cage. You can put your hands on the cage. The only thing you can't do is grab the cage. If Pettis stuck his foot in the cage and grabbed it with his toes, it would have been illegal. But you can bounce off the cage with any part of your body you want to.
