UFC middleweight contender Demian Maia ($80,000) was the top earner at Saturday's The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale event.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) recently requested and today received the list of disclosed paydays from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The total disclosed payroll for the Dec. 4 show was $398,000.

Other top earners from the evening include winners Stephan Bonnar ($62,000), Leonard Garcia ($32,000) and Rick Story ($26,000), as well as main-card losers Kendall Grove ($28,000) and Johny Hendrickcs ($22,000).

The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale took place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and aired live on Spike TV.

The full payouts included:

Jonathan Brookins: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
def. Michael Johnson: $8,000

Stephan Bonnar: $62,000 ($31,000 win bonus)
def. Igor Pokrajac: $10,000

Demian Maia: $80,000 ($40,000 win bonus)
def. Kendall Grove: $28,000

Rick Story: $26,000 ($13,000 win bonus)
def. Johny Hendricks: $22,000

That's about right and 28k just to show is a pretty decent payday for middle tier fighter like Grove.

$398,000 that's pretty weak. Way to pay Dana. They going to need to find another job if they keep getting paid like that.

I don't have a problem with the paydays, but I guess some guys are going to have to ride out their WEC contracts before they get real money.

Why is everyone complaining about the low overall payroll for the event? IT WAS AN ULTIMATE FIGHTER FINALE, OF COURSE IT WAS LOW!
