Silva vs Sonnen FOTY???
You have got to be shitting me...
Misaki vs Santiago was 50 times what that fight was. That wasnt even a good fight just a good sub at the end. No back and forth action at all. This is bullshit.
Mma fans...

Yeah, that's what I was saying in another thread, Sonnen/Silva was one sided GnP and then late sub.

Coach of the Year - Greg Jackson?
His fans played it safe and voted only during time periods when they knew people weren't voting for other coaches so as to avoid a voting war.

Problem is it's UFC fans not MMA fans doing most of the voting. These awards are always a farce. Ring Card Girl of the Year!!???? This award show has a about as much relevance as the Teen Choice Awards.

In other words, you are saying that it was the most relevant thing in the world, right? I DVRed the TCAs and watch it every night.

I will give you that Garcia/Jung was better than Sonnen/Silva but it was not better than Santiago/Misaki fight. Garcia/Jung was sloppier than Santiago/Misaki fight.

Silva VS Sonnen deserves it on the basis of the hype, the smack talk, the intensity of what happened in the ring... It was one I GUARANTEE left every fight fan on the edge of their seat. Waiting to see the Silva get beaten, and to see him pull the W off with a B.J.J classic move was epic. Yes there's been better brawls, there's been more blood and more action and more intensity in a lot of other fights. But besides the recent B.J Penn vs Matt Hughes fight, that's the only fight in a LONG time that's made me jump out my seat yelling. ALSO Greg Jackson COTY - IN YO FACE DANA ;)
