A lightweight fight between TUF 9 winner Ross Pearson and Spencer Fisher is expected to be part of UFC 127 in Australia. Although not officially announced by the organization, UFC 127 is expected to take place Feb. 27 at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. The event airs live on pay-per-view, though it's not clear if Fisher vs. Pearson will be part of the broadcast. Verbal agreements are in place for the fight, paperwork pending.

I don't think anyone will be knocked out in this fight. Both guys come to brawl but don't really have the power needed for a KO finish. Fisher is really good at tricking his opponents into a standing fight and beating them with his boxing but I think he will have a hard time with Pearson. Ross had a small set back against Miller but I honestly think Miller's reach advantage was what took him by surprise. He also has very good wrestling, and he's really talented when it comes to switching levels during a fight, which has caused Fisher some serious problems in the past.
I'm going with Pearson by Unanimous Decision.

Just going to be a decent stand up fight, almost boxing like. Pearson takes it in a decision.

The loser will probably be cut, unfortunately.

I seriously doubt that either of these guys are getting cut. They will probably put on the fight of the night and it's probably going to be a split decision.

Ya both of these guys consistently put on stand up wars, I don't see a cut for either of them after this fight. If anything I feel they will show want Dana is looking for with the expansion, fighters who always leave it in the cage.

Great fight, but have to lean towards Pearson. His striking continues to improve, and Spencer on the other hand has looked more lethargic than he did earlier in his career. I think this is Ross' fight to lose.
