Makes sense and I'd consider it a graceful bowout. Best of luck to him outside the cage!

The guy had a lot of talent but he probably has the weakest chin of any pro MMA fighter that I can think of, it's probably a good decision.

I don't think it's his chin, but his vision. If you notice, his right eye has a ****** up pupil, and he always got clocked by left hands or strikes to that side of is face. The punch that knocks you out is the one you don't see coming.

Is that neccessary? The guy always put on a show and has earned a bit of respect.

nothing to do with his eye, nothing is wrong with it, its just a visual deformation, and most of the shots he was dropped by were right hooks or straights hes not blind, or vision impared at all

Really? I know he's always passed vision tests, but it always seemed southpaws would get the best of him. Then again, if it's right hooks that are doing him in, it is southpaws knocking him out.

I think it's a good decision for him, you can only be KO'd so much.... He's took his fare share of punches. Good decision.

I think he should do what he wants, but wouldnt think he should have to reitre, he could go to the minor leagues and then come back. he is fun to watch. either way i wish him the best of luck.

Real classy. The guy had the balls to go out and fight time and time again, and overall he had a pretty succesful career despite his history of being KO'd. The least you could do is show the guy a bit of respect when he decides to call it a career.

That's what his eye actually looks like? I always thought he just wore some weird contact lenses or something.

Really glad he's making the decision now while he's still presumably healthy before getting KO'd more. He could put together some more wins for sure, but at what cost?
