Again, like it or not, while also denying another rumored fight. "He never asked for Roy Nelson, that's not true. The last thing I did hear was that he wants to fight Frank Mir again. That fight kind of makes sense so ... we will probably see Lesnar fight Mir next, I think that the rubber match makes sense."

Boo! I don't like this AT ALLl. Brock Lesnar needs to build his legacy by fighting an assorted group of fighters, not by fighting Frank Mir over and over again.

It would benefit Brock's career to fight a new opponent. He needs to face different styles to figure out where he stands among the best. Mir needs a new opponent also. Lesnar vs Roy Mir vs Rothwell or Russow would be the matchups I would make
I would pick Mir to beat Lesnar in the rubber match.

I'd like to see Mir vs. Nelson, and Lesnar against anyone but Mir. He's gonna have almost half of his pro fights against one guy.

*Loosely translates to*
"We're not going to take any chances with Brock's next opponent."
It makes sense only in the fact that Zuffa know it's Brock's fight to win and most MMA fans still consider Frank a "relevant" HW. They'll get Brock back on the horse this way.
I'm not enthused at all by this fight. It does make business sense though so I'm not surprised to see it happen.

lame.....but of course i'll watch :)
I want to say i have 0 interest in it but I know i'll tune in...then again I could credit that to whatever else ends up on that card.
Rothwell vs. Nelson Mir Vs. Schaub Brock Vs. Nog/Kongo/
winner of rothwell vs. nelson gets winner mir vs. schaub. carwin gets loser of one of those fights.
winner brock vs. nog/kongo gets winner of one of those fights and the losers can fight plus by then cain or dos santos will have lost and then they can get get one of the losers. While this is happening someone will be working there way up and some of them will probably fall off. If brock and frank meet down the line... cool for then. Now is silly.
I'd honestly like to see both of them fight at least 4 or 5 times before they meet again if that is possible.

What happens to Brock if he loses back to back? Plus, I thought their rubber match would be bigger than this, like it would be for the title.
Brock prolly gets a title shot if he beats Mir, and maybe vice versa.

win or lose this fight takes Lesnar down a notch.

As much as I enjoy re-watching the first fight and as much as I want to see Brock slap Mir's backside again upon submission, no. Not interested in a rubber match and this is not the best move for Brock or UFC. I'd much rather see him face Nelson or someone else-if they are going to do a rematch with Brock make it Carwin when he returns.

He will learn nothing win or lose from this fight. If I was the UFC, I'd set him up with an opponent that has "decent" striking power. No one hit knockout artist, but someone who would strike with Lesnar on an amatuer level, someone that would help Lesnar learn to take a punch.
Besides, Lesnar/Mir 3 is boring to me. I didn't enjoy the first two.

The last 15 or so seconds of the first fight? Because Mir was getting absolutely destroyed prior, which was the part I thoroughly enjoyed.
