After announcing recently he planned to drop from Welterweight to Lightweight, Marcus Davis will make his 155 debut at UFC 125 on January 1. His opponent will likely be a fighter who openly campaigned for a fight with him after his announcement-Jeremy Stephens. The fight is expected to be finalized in the coming days.

With 70 new employees I figured the ufc would have to make
12 fight card line ups
This card is ******* stacked. And I am glad for last years jan vegas card that was awful
This fight. And mike brown vs diego nunes match
I pray the card stays legit for another 8 weeks
Right now I gotta go with jeremy

Stephens loves calling out fighters it seems. I'll take him winning by decision. Should be a decent fight!

Am I the only one that thinks Marcus will have a hard time cutting the weight? I like the match-up against Stevens. Probably would side wit7h Stevens just because of the weight cut.

I agree the weight cut will be awful for him. His face will look terrible with all that scar tissue.

The title of this article should say "Marcus Davis to retire after Little Heathen knocks his face off"

The loser of this fight gets cut, especially if Davis. I love the Hand Grenade, but I think this is the end of the line for him.

I wonder if hes cutting weight because he's losing muscle mass with age. If not, thats going to be hard on his body. Moving a division down in weight tends to be a bad move with older fighters. Reflexes always fade with time and he's going to fight faster fighters now.
