Following a UFC 120 preliminary card loss to Rob Broughton, Brazilian heavyweight Vinicius Quieroz (5-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) tested positive for the banned substance Stanozolol. MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed the finding with the UFC's Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Marc Ratner.

Why didn't everybody get tested???? How is testing 8 fighters reliable with the whole debate about PED's in MMA? For me the UFC should make a stand against all proven users not just the ones who don't bring in the PPV buys, and by this i do mean Sonnen.

State athletic agencies say testing is expensive so they randomly test a preset number of fighters for every card (number of fighters tested varies from state to state). Main even fighters and fighters in a championship bout are always tested. It's been that way for years.

Props to Rob Broughton, yeah he was taken down with ease etc, but to beat a man on PED's is a massive win.

he screwed the pooch with that one. im glad to hear the ufc gave him the boot. it always aggravates me to hear about athletes taking that crap. and even worse than that, it seems to be getting worse, more and more roids in pro sports.
