Although it's not definite that it happens next, Condit thinks it could be a good tune-up fight for a certain Canadian juggernaut. "In [the Hardy fight], I felt as comfortable as I’ve ever felt in the cage. I feel like I’m coming into my prime now. It’s now or never if I’m going to get that belt around my waist. I’m going to give it my best effort and train as hard as I can, and these next couple of fights will probably define my career ... I think Fitch, that would be a great fight. I think his game plan would be similar to (GSP’s) game plan. Wrestler probably try to take me down, and if I could deal with that then that is maybe a marker for how I might do in a title match ... I’d have to work my butt off, but I like a challenge."

This could be a good fight, if Condit can be a monster off his back. Rory took Condit down, and I think Fitch could do even better controlling Condit.
I think Condit would do better against Alves/Doomsday winner or someone else. Fitch seems to run through everyone not named GSP.

i wont count condit out but fitch seems to nulify everybody with his wrestling. some wrestlers are able to transfer their wrestling backgrounds very well into MMA and i think fitch is among the best.

I believe Condit can win. I just wouldn't bet the house on it.

Condit gives up position far too easily to deal with someone like Fitch, whose entire gameplan is to control people.
