Melvin Guillard & Yves Edwards are set to meet as an as-yet-unannounced UFC event on January 22, but the fight doesn't yet have a venue or even a card, and it's not known if it could be a UFN or UFC On Versus yet. That search is currently underway. As for the fight, verbal agreements are in place, paperwork pending.

Oh, wow. I didn't see this coming. Edwards doesn't excite me anymore though. His last two wins have been mediocre in my eyes. I expect he will come into the fight cocky and end up catching one on the chin from Guillard, 2nd or 3rd round.

Edwards never fights cocky. He's also more technical. Guillard learned the art of the decision from Jackson. Nice matchup.

Has to be a versus 3 card
This fight should grace the main card

Please explain why you feel Yves Edwards would come into this fight cocky, especially against a guy like Guillard?
