Ah, here's 15 or 16 rounds from a Springfield XD 9mm with a suppressor. It's loud, but if you were inside, you might not be heard from too far away.
And some Chow Yun Fat action!  (I wonder if she hit anything..?)
First, I'm willing to bet the only thing she hit was herself with the slide.
Second, yeah, I can't see how that suppression would work in an environment that echoes. That was still pretty damn loud.

see, I was thinking she forgot the rockstar slide as taught to you by Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny. That's how you really hit stuff.
