I think Carwin beats on him for about 4 mins and then gasses (this prediction seems so shallow considering it was the same as his last fight). Nelson has a great chin, look at the JDS fight, and is much better off his back than Brock Lesnar. He's going to submit Carwin.

Lesnar is the only guy who has weathered a Carwin beating, I'm not too sure I can see Nelson doing the same. I'd like to see it for the sake of making the fight more awesome, but I really can't see Roy getting past his heavy hands and size/strength.

I'm suprised that some of you saw the JDS fight and are sure Carwin will put Roy away that dude can take a beating and lets face it JDS has way better hands then Carwin Roy is in for one hell of a fight but if he tires Carwin and gets a takedown I think its a wrap in favor of Roy. I'm not saying Shane can't win but I think at this moment I favor Roy heres hoping he gets in with a good training camp this go round.

Better hands, but I'm not sure he has more power.
People are quick to point out Carwin's poor cardio, but Nelson's cardio is questionable too. As much as we celebrate his belly, it's unlikely that it helps him in the longevity department.

This is some hilarious stuff. When Nelson was on TUF I was spending every day on the boards defending him and saying he's a good dude and great fighter. I remember I had a Roy Nelson belly rub avatar and everyone was hating on it. Now all of the sudden there's a majority of Nelson fans. I'm not saying everyone in here is a fair weather fan but I think we can all agree MMA fans are as fickle as can be
Shane Carwin will more than likely absolutely smash Nelson, though. Nelson has a propensity for getting hit and Carwin's hands aren't the ones you want to test your chin on
I'm not sure that Carwin punches any harder than JDS and there was no way JDS was getting a KO when he fought Roy. I have to go with the majority of people here and say Nelson wins by beating up Carwin's fists with his face and then submitting him.
