BROOMFIELD, Colo. – At just 24 years old, things are going pretty well for WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (17-1 MMA, 7-0 WEC).

A relatively unknown Brazilian prospect just 18 months ago, "Junior" is now widely considered among the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world.

But while some MMA observers and even WEC brass have pondered Aldo's potential to someday hold belts in multiple weight classes, the phenom himself is more focused on what it will be like someday when he can't be called a champion in any division.

I love that. This kid can do absolutely no wrong in my book. One of the best champions in all of the sport, and a great model for success in MMA.

...even though he's going to lose to Manny tomorrow!

AV bet? We can go a 2 weeks if you have the testicular fortitude. 1 week if you were just being cheeky, but still want to sack up.

Too late, have a straight up 1 month/1 month with Ncordless.

With that Iowa Hawkeye loving bastard!?

Why wasn't this posted in the camp forum? I would have been all over this like Nick Foles on the Hawkeyes. (Hope ncordless views the thread)

It was a spur of of the moment thing. I was talking in a thread about how Manny has a great style to beat Aldo, and Ncordless threw down the gauntlet.

And I always say, better a Hawkeye than a Buckeye, am I right?

My dad's from Fort Wayne Indiana, so I was raised to hate Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. I never caught on to Indiana college sports, and actually despise Notre Dame. Only caught on to Auburn because I grew up some in Alabama and my brother graduated from there.

That's a bet that I guarantee that you WON'T win considering the fight isn't tonight.

It's tomorrow. The 30th.

If either of you were Notre Dame fans, I would happily post a picture of my middle finger as I left the camp.

EDIT: I thought the same thing about the fight being tomorrow, Fleek, but then again, I have been so caught up in school I wasn't sure what day it was.

I can't speak for gart, but I'd personally rather slam my nuts in a toilet seat.

Haha... you know what I meant. Days are running together for me right now. And I concur about the Notre Dame sentiments.

Edit: I'm so used to WEC cards being on Sundays or Wednesdays.

I'm so relieved to hear this. As I would rather slam my nuts in a toilet seat than be associated with Notre Dame fans.

'Zona wasn't really very good, the Hawks just beat themselves that game. Anyone who watched that game would take the Hawkeyes all day in a rematch.
