I honestly have my doubts. When I first heard he was fighting Fabricio Werdum, I thought he was nuts. Arlovski is a physical sight and very well-rounded, but I've never been convinced he was a championship caliber fighter. He looks good crushing B-level and the occassional respectable fighter, but very rarely earns a win against elite competition.

Agreed. He's going to get handled by Werdum. He would have lost to Cruz if not for all that craziness with stopping the fight and restatring it on the ground. He got in a lucky punch after the restart. He's towards the bottom of the top 10, but not top 5. Not even top 5 in the UFC anymore.

he looked decent in the first round. then he didnt do crap the rest of the fight. i think when fighters dance around the whole round the should be given 9-9 rounds. how can you pick a winner in a round when there is only a couple of strikes thrown.

are you serious?! Paul beuntello is a great fighter, arlovski killed him. Vladimir Matyushenko is a amazing fighter, andrei beat him. Tim Sylvia, andrei beat him! Marcio Cruz I a god in brazil, andrei murdered him. you might wanna learn somethin about mma before you say that arlvoski isn't good.

I think arlovski coasted thru his last fight on purpose. Noticed he threw just enough punches to beat Werdum. His next contestant may take him lightly. Strategy? its a possibility!
