"I had a pretty slow start actually. I never make excuses before my fights but coming up before this fight I had the worst migraine in the world and it took me actually two rounds to get through that. Everything he was touching me with hurt man, I was just in a bad situation there. I just tried to gut it out and my head kinda cleared up and things worked out well in (the third) round but I guess not well enough to win the fight ... I'm just gonna keep fighting and see what happens."

Wait, so a migraine went away after getting punched in the head a few times? I'll have to try that next time I have a headache.

Always carry some Excedrin migraine around, never know when you will need it, migraines suck, i didnt see the fight. Jardine at 185 would be interesting, he never looks super slim at 205 imo.

I have never really liked Jardine's "awkward style" it is just annoying to watch and is pretty innefective. He seems to have decent power and obviously has the skillset. Why not try an orthodox style for a fight or two? Getting a couple of Ws with his wrestling and agressive striking could do his confidence some good. Jardine seems to be getting clipped/dropped in every fight with his "Rabid Octopus" style, An old school/back to basics approach is what's needed IMO.

He hasn't won a fight in two years. But yeah, I'd say give him five years. If he hasn't won a fight by then we'll revisit this "hang 'em up" question.
You have three more years, Mr. Jardine.

People have bad runs. I dont think it is fair to say "it's over". Besides all his recent losses have been close fights to decent competition. Besides the loss to Wandy. He just needs to tighten up his striking defence and lower the level of competetion for a few fights.

He's just one of those guys that's always going to have close fights. He's fighting tough fighters he's just coming up short, because his takedowns aren't great and he's more of a survivor who than a finisher..
