Less than a year after Dana White tweeted that Karo Parisyan would never fight again in the UFC, "The Heat" has been welcomed back to the organization and offered a fight against Dennis Hallman at UFC 123 in Auburn Hills, Mich.

MMA Fighting confirmed the news with two sources close to the situation, as well as Parisyan himself Thursday afternoon.

Both Parisyan and Hallman have yet to sign the bout agreements, which have been issued to both fighters, but both fighters have verbally agreed to the welterweight bout.

I'd love to see Karo fight live. Tough fight to come back to though.

Disappointed that they would bring him back, I'm thinking Hallman can win the fight, but a Parisyan UD is more likely.

If James Irvin is allowed back after pain killers, and again after terrible performances though... I know Karo has backed out of some fights, but he's also provided a good resume in the UFC. I pray that his head is on straight.

Let's put it this way. If you were standing behind me right now, I'd want to cover my a-hole with a cast iron skillet.

Guaranteed you'd need more than that.

See? Paul Daley will be back!

And by the way, Parisyan still does owe the NSAC that $32,000. Ulterior motives.

I hope this fight goes down. Hallman won't be able to ride him like he did Saunders. Karo's takedown defense is far too good.

I think some of you guys are forgetting just how bad Karo's conditioning has been over the last few fights. It could go either way, but I'm betting Karo is completely gassed within 5-6 minutes and just gets controlled for the rest of it.

That is a pretty big issue, and I wonder if he's working with Greg Jackson at all anymore.
