I've been wondering what the UFC has in store for Takanori Gomi. Many people I know believe he got lucky with that punch. It's called "one punch' knockout power people. But who do you think should face up against Gomi next? I think he should face the loser of the Maynard vs Florian bout tomorrow at UFC 118. A match with the technical Gray Maynard? Or a rematch with the submission specialist, Kenny Florian. Or do you guys think someone else should take the job?

Id like to see him fight the winner of Guillard v. Stephens.

I think Gomi is going to be just fine with no matter who they match him up against. He's got a great skill set for 155 lbs. He's almost like a Chuck Liddell of 155 if you think about it. Good sprawl, huge KO power. Maybe not in some other areas, but in those major two he definitely is to me.
He'll win some and lose some, but I think he'll be an exciting match up against anyone. I'm ALL for Guillard vs. Gomi. I think that would be a barn burner

Kind of still wish Huerta was in the UFC. Gomi v. Huerta would be insane too.
If Maynard loses badly to Florian, I could definitely see a Maynard v. Gomi fight being fireworks.

I think a fight with Guida would be an excellent fight.
