Fedor Emelianenko will in the coming week decide what his immediate future holds in Strikeforce, according to a source close to the fighter. While speculation on Emelianenko's next opponent has centered around current heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem or a rematch with Fabricio Werdum, the source said a contest with Antonio Silva on Dec. 4 is currently on the table for the Russian's final fight on his current Strikeforce contract. Strikeforce has yet to determine a city or venue for the Dec. 4 event, and officials could not be reached for comment. Scott Coker recently said Silva is one of 3 fighters being considered for the next Fedor fight, the others being Sergei Kharitonov & Alistair Overeem.

Give him Werdum. He should get an immediate rematch IMO

Werdum's out until next year. And I don't think SF wants to go through the jake Shields fiasco again at HW.

Would rather see Werdum or Overeem but a matchup against Bigfoot could be very revealing to where Fedor stands amongst the HW fighters. Sometimes taking a fight such as this is more stress inducing than taking a bigger bout, considering when you're the favirote to win, well you're the favorite.
Everyone is eager to see how well Fedor will deal with his first real loss and taking on a fighter who really is an underdog, yet a dangerous one at that will be a good test not only for Fedor but for the fans.

AA, who is washed up unfortuanately -imo, has lost and given Rogers and Big Foot thier credibility. If Fedor was half the fighter he was made out to be b4 loss, Big Foot should be an easy fight
