Numerous sources have informed me that welterweight prospect Rory “The Waterboy” MacDonald (10-1) is likely set to square off against rugged veteran Matt “The Immortal” Brown (11-9) at UFC 123, tentatively scheduled for November 20th.

MacDonald, who hails from Kelowna, BC, suffered the first defeat of his young career, when, with seven seconds left in his UFC 115 bout vs Carlos Condit, the referee stepped in to halt the action.

Interesting, Rory might just be good enough on the ground to submit brown without problem. But Brown is a punisher and i could see him doing what Condit did to Rory, beat the fight out of him.

man this a sad fight, I mean who ever losses will most likely e heading home. Matt Brown is an exciting fight who brings it but I can't see a three fight losing streak not ending his UFC bid. Too bad.

Yeah for a yuong guy Rory held his composure whuile taking that beating from Carlos in the third rnd. I think he will end the fight with a sub for sure. I can see Matt getting with a loss, but maybe not if it is a very exciting fight. i mean look at how many fights Mcfedries got before getting the ax!!??
