I think it would be great for Headlining the next Versus card .I predict fireworks from beginning to end. And if i'm not mistaken Guida and Tyson sized up well with each other compared to Gomi being farely larger than Tyson in my eyes. I give the edge to Gomi but who knows

As far as I know, Versus doesn't have any more UFC events coming to them.
However, it would be a great headliner for a fightnight card, or a co-main event on a ppv. I think Gomi picks it up via tko. He's just got too much power, and I don't think Guida can grind him down.
On a tangent, I genuinely don't know where guida falls. He has losses to people I felt he should have been able to beat, but as soon as I start thinking he's overrated, he goes out and wins. I'm not sure where he is.

Guida by decision, this would be a crazy good fight. I think it needs to happen and more than likely will happen.

I give the edge to Guida for his relentless way of fighting and wrestling. I can see Guida just pressing him down and using his wrestling to get the decision. Then again, Gomi can KO him when Guida starts swinging wildly. Great fight. Hope it makes it on a card some day soon.

I'd give it to Guida.....better match up IMO would be Gomi vs Hendricks.

id give it to guida as well. gomi got the big KO against griffin but it was to early to see what the fight would have played out. im just not that impressed with gomi, hes got KO power but at that level who doesnt, its about gameplan and technique.

Tough fight to call. Looks like it would be a hot bout with how the voting is playing out. I think Guida could grind him out but Clay gets hit to much for my liking. Gomi has the power to put him to sleep and I think he would be bigger than Clay. I picked Guida but really its a toss up in my book.

not by destruction like some might say but i think he'd be able to brush off gomi's strikes until the fight hits the floor.

Wow this would be a great fight! i would go with Guida in a fast paced UD. He would eb able to grind Gomi down and out by the end of the 3rd for sure. And i Feel that gomi while dangerous striking is a overrated. His TD defense is poor and once on his back he would be way out of his world against a wrestler like Guida.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw this fight in the future. I train with Clay over at MTC I'll ask him about it.
