What seemed like simply a publicity stunt has evolved into a main event fight between Eric "Butterbean" Esch and "World's Strongest Man" Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 14 on Sept. 18 in Poland.
KSW announced Tuesday the headlining bout as well as the inclusion of UFC veteran Per Eklund, undefeated newcomer Michal Mankiewicz, Sengoku 13 competitor Kazuki Tokudome and M-1 Challenger veteran Niko Puhakka into the promotion's upcoming lightweight tournament, joining the previously announced participants Artur Sowinski and Maciej Gorski.

I don't think he will have to worry about tapping. He will get put to sleep if he stands with Butterbean. The only chance he has is to outwrestle him and get on top. Pudzianowski is in trouble IMO.

He should be able to easily knock over the morbidly obese Butterbean and get a strikes stoppage.

Okay, glad I wasnt the only one to think this as well. Pudz just has to trip/push Butterbean to the floor/off balance and he wont get back up - thats pretty much proven in any fight Butterbean has been on his back for.

BP should think about getting a permit for this fight, because there is going to be a surplus of gassing if it doesn't end quickly with an explosion.

While I concede that all you have to do is be able to push Butterbean onto his back and maintain some form of top control in order to win against him I think it's laughable that people assume
1) That pudz has the wrestling skills and/or experience to make this task easy
2) That Butterbean doesn't have legitimate boxing skills, an iron chin, and much more MMA experience than Pudz. Butterbean was training at ATT last I heard. Where is Pudz training again?
The only thing... the ONLY thing Pudz brings into any of his fights at this level is his ridiculous strength. Now, he may just be able to push Butterbean over, but let's not act like Butterbean doesn't have the punching skills to KTFO Pudz.

That is gonna be a grudge match, I heard Butterbean made a comment about Pudz punching. Should be entertaining like a toughman contest imo.

Am I the only one with the common sense that Pudzianowski will easily put butterbean down and tag him unconscious?
I mean when has butterbean been successful with his boxing in the cage? never, he only won his boxing matches because he was fed. His power rarely meant much. He was marketed because he punched guys fast and a lot.
