link Robert Drysdale's long-awaited MMA debut finally took place Saturday night at Armageddon Fighting Championship 3 in Victoria, British Columbia, and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu wizard gave everyone exactly what they came to see: a first round submission win.

I didn't see the fight but his BJJ is unreal. I'm sure if he's training properly in all areas he could be a real force in the UFC.

The loss to Jacare in the 2009 ADCC Super Fight has really lit a fire under Drysdale's ass. He has developed an outstanding work ethic and is really enjoying training stand up. I wish him nothing but the best and I hope we see him competing at the highest level soon.

Drysdale could be really great. It'd be fantastic if he developed a stand up game as good as say, Jacare.

I think Drysdale will be very competitive like Demian Maia, because he is a great finisher, but his takedown defense isn't great and he's not an explosive takedown guy. I think he's top twenty in the world, just by throwing his name in the hat, but he is undersized and he's going to lose a fight here and there because everybody knows what his gameplan is.

I don't think many opponents would be interested in taking him down.
