November is when Ortiz hopes to return to action following his back surgery, but despite his feelings regarding Chuck's future he still wants a piece of the Iceman even though he also wants Forrest again. "The surgery went really, really well. I just started doing weight training so next week I start doing drills. I have to make sure I make the right steps for my future and my career. I hope I get the Chuck fight. As a fighter, I would love to kick his ass. As a human being, I don't think he should fight anymore just because health is more important than fights. Grudge matches are important to sell, but at the same time he has kids to take care of and I don't want nothin' serious to happen to him. (Getting knocked out) that many times, it gets kinda scary. I was really shocked (by the loss to Rich Franklin fight), I saw all my money go out the window. It is what it is, everything in this world happens for a reason and I'll be back at the end of November. I'd like to [fight] Forrest. If Forrest would like to do a trilogy it'd be awesome. We gave two great fights both times we fought and we'll get a triple fight more exciting than the last two."

Tito should retire, that dude is spent and calling out Forrest or Chuck would be a career ender for him.

I would like to see a Ortiz-Griffin 3 rather than a Liddell-Oritz 3, mainly because Liddell cant afford to lose again and both times he fought Ortiz he dominated both time. As for Ortiz fighting Griffin both of their fights so far have been classics and a third would be a great fight to see where both these fighters stand in the division.

Chuck has already won twice against tito, there's nothing to prove to himself or the fans. Forrest/ Titio 3 though is a rubber match that i'm personally interested in.

It seems like Tito seems to always face the same guys... Give him someone else, if we saw either Tito/Forrest or Tito/Chuck that would be a total of 5 of his UFC fights against two men...

Bonnar would get taken down and pounded on for 15 minutes. Maybe even get TKO'd. His wrestling is way too lacking. He couldnt even handle Colemans wrestling.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Bonnar/Ortiz. I'd still like to see Randy have a go at Tito again.

I definately agree that tito needs a step down in competition. He has hardly done anything since shamrock yet thinks he deserves big fights. Bonnar would be good, but their are other guys like ryan bader, matt hamill, jason brilz or polish experiment(not attemptin t spell his name lol) i just feel there are better fights for tito that fans havent seen yet unlike said rematches!

I hated the Franklin/Liddell fight for this very reason. I like both of those guys and didn't want to see either one of them lose. I felt like either way we lost a legend. Rich would have stuck around but been placed in gatekeeper status and Chuck w/a loss obviously is done. That being said Chuck would still drop Tito IMO. Tito touched him once or twice in their two previous fights but no real damage, and Rich, Shogun, and Rampage all hit a hell of a lot harder than Tito, not to mention Rashad's lightning in a bottle. Tito doesn't have that kind of striking and Chuck still has the power and sprawl to beat the crap out of him. However, I really don't want to see that fight either...I feel like it too is a lose lose. I wouldn't mind seeing the third Griffin fight, but I would rather see it after Tito takes a fight against some other 205ers and Forrest IMO is back to climbing the ladder at the moment. Don't pull the guy off the upper rungs and make him fight Tito. Wow I just read through this and realize I sound like a complete Tito hater. That is not the case I just think Chuck has his number. His last couple of fights/losses have come at the hands of some pretty talented guys though. Machida, Griffin, and the draw to Rashad are all significant but those are all former world champions. I still say going 0-3-1 in your last 4 doesn't get you in line to fight a top 5 lhw.
