It appears Nick Catone will stay at middleweight for now.
Not long after the New Jersey native told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that he wants to drop to welterweight, sources close to the promotion today said Catone (8-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) will stay in the 185-pound division to fight Tomasz Drwal (17-3-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 22.
UFC Fight Night 22 is expected to take place Sept. 15 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, and air live on Spike TV, though the promotion has yet to officially announce the event.
The position of Catone vs. Drawl on the fight card is unknown at this time.

Was hoping that Catone would go down to WW, Drwal can prolly get a victory here by tko if he can fend off the wrestling of Catone.

Too bad for Catone that Drwal needed to fight. I mean fighters like these guys can't turn down a spot on a card for anything. And when the UFC comes calling you jump. I like Drwal in this one. TKO probably. Catone could edge out a UD if he can get Drwal down and hold him there!??

Wow, a little surprised at the unanimous nod for Drwal. When has Drwal showed any signs of good cardio? He gassed horribly against Thiago Silva and gassed in a win against Ciesnolevic.
Catone should have got the nod against Mark Munoz. If Catone survives the 1st round he should win the next two rounds if history repeats itself for Drwal, and I havent seen anything to show that it would change.
Catone is tough and I think he will grind out a UD against Drwal.
