So i was looking at the new rankings today to see who would be number 1 since Fedor lost to Werdum, and as i glanced through most of the rankings i went through them all and see jorge santiago is a top 10 middleweight. I understand he has been on a winning streak since getting his walking papers from the UFC but come one. who has he fought that makes him worthy of being in the top 10? granted he has one good victory in that streak with a come from behind submission of Masaki, then avenges the loss to Mamed Khalidov who recently went to a draw with a very irrelevant fighter at KSW. So i would like to know if most of you agree or disagree with his top 10 ranking

I think he is probably looking at the sherdog rankings... if I remember right he is at 10 there.
The bottom end of the MW top ten is pretty murky, and I think there are a list of fighters that are acceptable picks, including Jorge. I have Wandy and Bisping down at the bottom of my own personal top ten, but I think other fighters like Akiyama, Jorge, Cote, Jacare, Leben, and Misaki are all in the same boat and are interchangeable at 9-10

Draw a number and a name out of a hat and that should round out the 8 - 10 spots in the MW rankings....Bisping, Wand, Leben, Akiyama, Santiago, Okami, Belcher, Palhares(?), etc. etc. all somewhat worthy of a ranking...

And before the Bisping bashes come out, remember that his only losses are to Hendo, (former champ), Wand, (former champ), and Rashad, (former champ). And if you bring up the point that he doesn't have KO power then here's this; Okami doesn't finish fights, except Linhares and Tanner (forever ago), Belcher had to spike Cote to finish him, Wand's only KO in the UFC came from Jardine (hello!), Akiyama hasn't finished anyone yet in the UFC, and Leben has got Simpson. Out of all those finishes by TKO/KO, the one Bisping put up against Kang was most impressive considering Kang's BJJ level and that Bisping was rocked like SH*t just minutes prior. I know the bashes are coming, hopefully this prevents it a little....

So, to prevent anyone from bashing Bisping, you bash several of his peers?

No, not bashing my friend. Just pointing out that they haven't been as dominant as mostly everyone points out against Bisping
