How many people here besides myself give him a chance. I think he easily wins this fight but I see a lot of people here are quick to say he has no chance. Hasn't Seth been training with Mir?

I think he will win he has a very accomplished stand-up with 10 of his wins coming by tko, he is 0-2 in the UFC with a decision loss to a top level fighter in Hammill and a submission loss to Gouveia, who at the time was considered on the rise to the top.

I think he wins this fight by either tko or decision, and gets some confidence going into his next fight with the UFC.

I have watched Romero's fights, he tend to be bit lazy in my opinion. He drops his hands down a bit (not something you want to do against Seth) and his wrestling doesn't look all that great despite what people say. Despite liking Seth for the sole reason he is a local boy and I know some of his family, I really see this being his fight. Seth has great people around him, UFC vets, has fought some of the toughest guys and who has he lost too that makes him look so bad. His worst lose would have to be Wilson Gouveia in 07? Hammill in 06? his only other 2 losses were at the beginning of his career in 01 against Gan McGee (former UFC/PRIDE fighter) and Mario Neto who has fought people like Randleman, Severn, McCully, Eddie Sanchez, Stefen Struve pretty much all in there prime)

Who had Romero fought or where has he fought that gives him the upperhand here? Do that many people actually pay attention to the Ring of Combat?

Its not about humor its about being respectful. If you dont like it, feel free to post those statments on sherdog. As for Seth winning. Sure he has had a lot of Ko's but not against real tough competition. Romero has only lost due to a DQ. Seems to be a beast standing or on the ground. I am going with Romero by sub 2nd rnd

I would imagine that Seth's takedown defense is key for him winning this fight, and not his submission defense.
