In my definition prospect in the UFC is basically someone with 2 fights within the UFC or less. Couple examples being Phil Davis, Rory MacDonald, Jake Ellenberger, the TUF guys.

My number 1 would have to be Phil Davis. I think he has the right size at Light Heavyweight and also he is a dominate wrestler. Give him a couple more fights and I think he will be top 15 in the world at light heavyweight.

Off the top of my head, I can think of:

Phil Davis
Evan Dunham - even though he has 4 fights in the UFC
Rory MacDonald
Todd Duffee
Court McGee
Ross Pearson

I'd even consider Roy Nelson a prospect. He's only had 2 fights in the UFC and has a great chin, ground game and powerful striking. He is already in his 30's but I still think he can improve his game.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Jon Jones (maybe doesn't qualify but is the hottest prospect)
Evan Dunham (the dude brings everything to the cage)
Ross Pearson (my boy from the north east of England)

Johny Hendricks - still under the radar it seems, but still hasnt lost in the ufc including a win over Sadollah.

Rory Macdonald - no explanation needed. Young and plenty of time to become one of the greats.

Mike Pierce - gave Fitch one hell of a fight and that in itself is huge and its his only loss in the UFC out of 3 fights.

George Sotiropoulos - looked amazing in his last fight against Joe Stevenson. He is now 5-0 in the UFC.

Court Mcgee - Looks better everytime he fights. Just won TUF 11.

Phil Davis - 2-0 in the UFC now.

im sure theres more but im braindead right now.

edit: sorry should have payed attention to original post. some of these fighters have more then 2 fights in the ufc. but i still think these guys are prospects.

Brendan Schaub and Todd Duffee at Heavyweight

Phil Davis at Light Heavyweight

Court McGee at Middleweight

Dong Hyun Kim and Jon Hathaway at Welterweight

Evan Dunham and Efrain Escudero at Lightweight

I think these are all guys that will fight for the belt someday and are just now stepping up their level of competition or are just starting out.

I don't like your definition. 2 UFC fights or less includes Akiyama, Lil' Nog and Big Country, amongst countless other vets...

My list is based on Age and total MMA experience...

Jon Jones
Phil Davis
Ryan Bader
Evan Dunham
Jon Hathaway

These guys are more like prospects, even thought they don't fit the given definition.
