The future got a lot less "Rosi" for Rosi Sexton last night. Not only did Zolio Frausto highlight-reel KO her at Bellator 23, but Frausto also KO'd her out of next season's Bellator Women's Tournament. Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney says Sexton will sit the tournament out as a result (Sexton also got a 60 day medical suspension) and Frausto will be considered as a replacement, but she's not guaranteed to be in.

There is a question about whether Frausto can make 115lb. If she can then she should definitely be part of the tourney.

As for Frausto, she said she'd have no trouble making weight.

"When they call me, I will make [115 pounds]," she today told MMAjunkie.com. "I made 120 (pounds) easy, and that was a little bit of a shock to everybody and myself. ... I can make that.

"I've been doing this to fight the best, and I just beat one of the best. So hell yeah, I want that spot."

yea i don't think she will have a problem making weight. and that knockout was brutal! It's different seeing a girl knocked out like that for me.

I think she has a good chance in the tourney, but my pick is fujii for sure.
no matter who ends up winning it, it should be fun. I know I am surprisingly excited for it. I think the tourney format will make womens mma more appealing than watching cyborg dominate. and who knows, maybe a top challenger will emerge and we could get double cross promotion: alvarez v melendez and santos v tourney winner.

Maybe in an alternate dimension. These girls are giving up 20-30+ pounds to Santos.

Good for warrior princess!!!
That was a brutal ko. She deserves to be in it. Weight may be a issue
