cant really say that its for talent vs talent, im sure they can find 16 or watever fighters they need to film it that are good and have lots of potential.....i think this boils down to dana wanting to make it up to the middle east because of the show they put on there last time with anderson..dana said that he would make it up to them...which will make the fans there happy at least. canadas fans will always be there haha just like hockey doesnt matter if ur teams the worst ur still watchin.. middle east it is i think dana dont wanna lose that fan base.. my take on it anyway

The more I thought about it the more I hope its in the Middle East even though I live in Toronto.
But for the same reason I'd like it there, I dont think its going to happen.
If they hold it in Dubai they will need to get rid of the alcohol (or use a foreign cast but that defeats the purpose of holding the show there). Seeing as Spike TV loves the drunken antics and openly encourages the fighters to act like idiots I'd say its unlikely the extremely conservative public/Govt in most Middle Eastern Countries would have anything to do with it.
I'd love to see them do a season where they focused on the fights more than the in house antics.

Good point, Flashy, I hadn't even thought about the drunken antics and the Middle East's stance on that. That will be a killer for the show. I'm sure they could probably find a cast that would drink, though. Middle Eastern or not. My friend is fresh off the boat middle eastern and he drinks like a fish.

if it is for the local market it will likely be all regional fighters who grew up in muslim nations without alcohol
and even if not, if they told me i could earn 100k and my fulfill my dream if i just dont drink booze for a couple weeks on television, i think i could handle that
