I coulda sworn I had more than 1K. However I see a lot of other people have the same bankroll.
What gives?

Each season on mmaplayground is 10 events long - the last season ended with UFC 114. Go to Stats/Data (Stats per event) - HERE. Then select season 8 and you'll see it starts with UFC 115. The bankroll always resets to $1000 at the beginning of a season and your points/season record will be reset too with the new ones after the first event of the season (UFC 115 in this case)

Thank you for the explanation.
I still dont understand WHY the purse is reset. What quality does this enlist?

Fairness. Everyone starts over from scratch, it wouldn't be very fair to start some people out with $100,000 but some with only $100, would it?

1. If a person started playing today with $1000 against the money that some of us have made since season 1, it would be extremely unfair. You didn't start until mid way through '09 and yet you didn't have to compete against bankrolls that have been building since Jan '07
2. The site is built around a "season" format. Starting over in points, wagers, and camp stats every ten events not only keeps the game competitive and lets players who start late or fall to far behind to catch up a chance, it also allows people to work towards an end goal of winning something. If there were no seasons, there would be no winners beyond individual events.

So its unfair. Why not have member loyalty for being around for so long. Plus, it can go as easy as it comes. More realistic that way. I honestly could care less if an Admin or a Mod for example had $10 million in their bank roll. Just as it is in daily life, its up to me to get there.
Either way, thanks for the clarification.
