A matchup between welterweights Charlie Brenneman and Johny Hendricks is in the works and will be part of August's UFC 117 event. Verbal agreements are in place, paperwork will be done shortly. It's expected to be a prelim match.

this is a pretty solid card up and down, there should be some really good, tough fights.

Nice to see the UFC not pushing Hendricks after coming off a controversial decision. This is a time where stepping back or at least not stepping up seems necessary.

Two solid wrestlers generally results in a brawl standing. Sounds fun.

I see Johny winning as well but I don't think it's a big step down. They're wrestling will probably cancel each other out so I think the stand up will favor Johny.

I still think Hendricks is better suited for 155....he looks kinda small for 170....time will tell I guess
