According to the man himself, apparently. I don't know what [UFC matchmaker] Joe Silva's deal is. Through my career, I've pushed for certain fights, and I don't know if it's Joe's personality or what, but I think he's not an Alan Belcher fan ... [Joe Silva is] cool and everything; it's just ... I don't know. It seems like I'm sitting there screaming: ‘The fans want to see me fight big fights.' I've got a big following, and I've got not just a flashy style; I have an explosive striking style. The fans want to see it, but he's not hearing it, man. It doesn't matter."

This isn't gonna help him get those fights, either. When will people learn that you don't call out the brass?

Maybe Joe Silva is a really big Johnny Cash fan.
Somethings just can't be forgiven.

Johnny Cash is roling over in his grave because of that tattoo. One of the WORST tattoos I've ever seen.

What is he talking about pat cote was the last guy to fight anderson and he looked half way decent, that was a decent fight to have even if cote was coming off a long layoff. He beat Gouveia who had the talent to be a big star, and had a fight with the huge japan star akiyama. Hes fought Okami, Kang, Herman those are all pretty big names at some point. I love Belcher but hes got good competition hes just been on and off. He beat cote now he should get somebody in the top 5 middleweight and I think that will happen, but maybe not now cause he opened his mouth.

You cant deny the fact that Belcher has skills.I'm a fan and thought the fact that it looked like johnny cash was kissing Cote on the cheek when he was choking the hell out of him was hilarious...Maybe not Anderson so soon but Alan deserves some better names. You cant blame him for being hungry. If Bisping squeezes out a win this weekend maybe that would be a good start for Belcher to prove to the people that doesn't believe in him that he is actually a serious threat! Would enjoy to see him mop the floor with Bisping.
First time i seen the tattoo i thought it was Ali

Maybe he shouldn't have lost to Jason Day or Yoshihiro Akiyama. The Akiyama loss is forgivable, but not to Jason Day.

If he wins he will get the fights. Plain and simple. Bitching at Joe Silva is certainly not going to curry any favors.

He s only at 2 in a row right now...I'd like to see him fight someone like Leben or Bisping before he steps up into the "Top 5" world.
