Love him or hate him, Phil Baroni is back for one more try in UFC. Reports are he's verbally agreed to fight at UFC 118 although an opponent has yet to be named. Baroni is 0-1 in his latest UFC comeback after dropping a decision to Amir Sadollah at UFC 106 last November.

He'll probably face a welterweight that the UFC likes who is in desperate need of a win.

I like Phil. He's a great personality, and his fights are generally exciting. But at this stage, it's almost impossible to take him seriously as a contender

Davis is facing Nate Diaz.

Serra v. Baroni sounds nice though.

I'm like the match up between Phil and Matt. For sure would be a war. But like ChokeOut said, they'll probably give him to an up and comer that needs to win. Amir fit that role, and maybe DeMarques Johnson needs that win!?!? He matchs up well against Baroni and is due to fight by then?

Has the UFC cut Renzo Gracie yet?

If not, Gracie vs. Baroni is a good fight to bury on the undercard to clear some roster space after the event.

I couldn't take that display of a complete lack of cardio on both fighters part. I just don't think Phil will be able to correct his cardio problem, it has plagued him for years!

I can do Baroni vs Gracie. Let's make it a "loser gets their pink slip" match.
