Don King Productions was granted its motion for injunctive relief Saturday against Shine Fight Promotions and boxer Ricardo Mayorga, who is scheduled to make his MMA debut against former UFC lightweight contender Din Thomas tonight at Shine Fights 3 “World Collide” at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, N.C.

MMA Weekly confirms Josh Gross' earlier report that the promotion intends to ignore the court ruled injunction and carry on with the event as planned.
Shine Fights' PR representative Phil Lanides was quoted as saying the following: "Official position at this point is that we're still going forward."

Of course, King's lawyers are saying they will sue them into oblivion.

I read that they are going to try to go ahead with the event but King will just wave the court order in the faces of the PPV providers.
