"After I lost to Brett Rogers, I had meetings with all my trainers, and they gave me a lot of ultimatums. They said that I had to do it their way, or that I would have to start to look for new trainers. When I fought Rogers I didn't stick to my game plan and I didn't take him seriously. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm more disciplined now. I'm definitely going to stick to my game plan. No more flying knees like against Emelianenko. No more putting my hands down like I did against Rogers. No more losing. I just can't lose again. It's very dramatic for me to lose fights and I want to climb back into the top. It's going to be a very tough and important fight for me."

His head weights him down, man! He'll get peppered with shots all night and AA will drop him in the third!!

If Arlovski has really got his head together the way he says he has, I think he'll make Silva look slow and clumsy. I'll believe it when I see it, though.
Even before his losses to Fedor and Rogers, AA was sleepwalking through fights. He has to stop acting like a rock-star and fight smart, forget about waxing his damn chest and learn how to circle and get some takedowns back into his game. He was an International Master of Sports in combat sambo (that's basically a 2nd-degree Black Belt, same as Fedor), and a silver medalist at the World Championships. He can hang with guys like Roy Nelson and Marcio Cruz on the ground. His well-rounded skillset is a strength, and his chin is a liability, but for some reason he thinks he's Roy Jones Jr.

I think Arlovski is gonna come back strong tomorrow, hes gonna avoid the takedown, use good head movement and boxing to defeat Silva

I love Arlovski, but it's getting harder to pick him in a fight against anyone with decent KO power.

I am actually kind of pissed that I am going to miss the fights tomorrow. My friend came to me with backstage passes to see 30 Seconds to Mars in LA. So, I begrudgingly agreed to go on principle. I think it's just too late in the game for Arlovski to change his game plan. Old habits die hard, as they say. He's had the same tendencies since his tenure in pride. A man as skilled as him on the ground should not rely on his stand-up to win fights. Sambo is no joke but he rarely uses it. That's why I didn't even come close to thinking he could beat Fedor. Aside from the fact that they are basically the same entity. Except Fedor is Yoda and Arlovski is Luke before meeting Obi Wan.

WAR "The Pitbull" I love this guy. I hope he can muster a KO win over Silva. He should be able to outpoint him standing. Unless he feels the needs to lead in chin first for a flying knee.
