Karo Parisyan is moving on with his fight career and will appear at Impact FC in Australia on July 10.

Parisyan today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that he has agreed to fight Brazilian Luis Dutra Jr. on the card Down Under. MMAjunkie.com reported earlier today that the former UFC welterweight's potential Strikeforce contract fell through.

"I [haven't] fought for a year-and-a-half, (so) it's exciting," Parisyan said. "Time to get on top again."

The Armenian-American fighter declined to comment on his Strikeforce negotiations other than to say the potential deal was a six-fight contract...

I really hope whatever roads Karo travels lead him back to fight in the US again.

Me too. He's one of my favorite fighters ever, and up until the recent escapades was hands down my favorite. But if he had anxiety training in Albuquerque with Greg Jackson, I wonder how he's going to handle going all the way to Australia.

I wish him all the best, and I will be watching this fight if possible.

I'm glad Karo is fighting again as well. I hope to be able to catch this fight and see how he looks. If nothing else, a replay will suffice.

I would like to see him back in the UFC soon, but I will guarantee a fight with Paul Daley is in the near future, I heard he was headed to Australia as well.

I can't imagine that Karo, or Nick Diaz, nor The Crow or any of the others that many of us love....will ever see the inside of the Octagon ever again. It just ain't gonna happen.

Fixed it for you. He is fighting Mario Miranda at UFC 115.

Let's see. How to comment without fighter bashing...

Karo is not my favorite fighter. Quite the opposite in fact.

It'll be fun seeing him throw some lesser opponents around.
