The "Irish Hand Grenade" got his wish to fight in Beantown.
Not long after Marcus Davis (17-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC) told MMAjunkie.com Radio that UFC officials were trying to get him a spot on the UFC 118 fight card, Nate Diaz (12-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC) has answered the call to fight him at the East Coast event.
Sources close to the promotion today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the two have verbally agreed to the fight with bout agreements expected to be signed shortly.

inbefo with Nate sitting. I bet Marcus is happy, though. This is the kind of fight that could put him back on track were he to win it.

Absolutely not, I would put money on it. Diaz is more likely to KO Davis who in his past several fights has shown a weakening chin, slowing reflexes, and poor game planning. There was a time when I was all over the Davis hype train, but I think his age or the length of his combat career has finally caught up with him.
Diaz wins this fight anywhere it goes.

I have to agree about Davis looking to be declining.
He's a good guy but I'll take Diaz via some sort of finish any day.

My dislike for Diaz won't allow me to pick him regardless of how sure of a thing it is.
