According to AKA teamamte Jon Fitch, it depends. "You don’t know what’s going on in his head sometimes. Like when he fought Thiago, it was his goal to stand and trade with him. But I think we’ve seen the clear path to beating Paul Daley, when Jake Shields fought and beat him. (Daley) probably is the most dynamic striker in the weight class. He is the most technical and probably the most explosive and powerful. So there’s not too many guys who would do well in a stand up fight with him. It all depends on what Josh decides to do the night of the fight. I think the grappling aspect would fare fairly well."

It's so weird how fighters dont use their strengths to win and instead get into a standup fight. Bj could have submitted Edgar with the quickness imo, but didnt. It may be the fault of some mma fans (including myself who like ko's, and diss lay n prey.. at times) and those fighters who care what the fans think of them.

I have no clue from what kos is going to do, i've heard too many things. But Im thinking he will play it smart with a TUF 12 coach spot and title shot on the line.

I'm picking Daley but I am worried about Daley's tank. The thing that I see different from the Johnson fight is that Daley is more compact and keeps a stronger base than Johnson. What Daley also does different is that he throws more power in his punches than Johnson, Johnson is more like Kimbo, and Daley is more like Rampage and I think that will be the difference in this fight even though I think Kos will use the same plan. If this fight goes past a minute of round two Kos will start to break Daley down, I would say 50-50 Daley by KO in the first or Kos by Submission in the second.

If Kos could deal with Johnsons power and speed I see him easily being able to slam Daleys head into the mat..
Ppl are picking Kos based on hope. They hope he stands and trades with Daley...if kos takes him down...its over

Why is Fitch making these sorts of comments about a teammate this late in the game? That's my question. You should support a teammate all of the time.

sounds like Fitch is just being realistic to me...
I mean Paulo Thiago only has 2 TKO wins now, one is over Koscheck, the other is win b/c of a knee injury..

Anthony Johnson is so not like Kimbo. He's also a far better wrestler than Paul Daley is. He's also faster and throws straighter punches..... and he's taller...... and he kicks more..... need I got on?
If kos wants this fight on the ground he wins quick.
