now THIS is a fantastic matchup! Joe silva nailed this one. I hope it makes the main card!
Munoz has the wrestling to take okami down like sonnen did. However I think he lacks the striking Sonnen used to set those takedowns up. Okami, while not always an extraordinarly exciting fighter, more often than not finds a way to win.
Can't decide who I'm picking yet, but I have a feeling it will be a split decision either way.

Yushin's chance to shine imo. If he can keep it standing Yushin will win, but if Munoz gets the takedown, its a gnp dynamite finishing Okami. I would like to see Yushin push the pace and go for the finish, although I hope Munoz wins. His aggressive style rules. Wrestler who ko/tko's people when hes on top. Very scary dude to be underneath. after the Grove win, I think Munoz showed heart by almost losing 2 times, and coming back for the win. He will prolly come back stronger with better striking. If he can wear out Yushin with kicks the takedowns will come easier later in the fight.

Munoz has vastly superior striking to Chael Sonnen. That wasn't always the case but in his last couple fights you can tell he's really been working it. His movement, defense, and kicks are much improved. Add that to his huge power and you've got a dangerous striker.
At least more dangerous than Chael Sonnen's pushing punches from his wrestling stance.

I like it, I'm taking Munoz. I think his striking will develop enough, and he's a fairly large MW as it is, so his takedowns will get through Yushins strength.

i'd say okami takes this if he comes in with the right strategy.. his striking was very crisp in his last fight so hopefully he can improve on that .. he should have a pretty good reach advantage too

This is a very close fight, but I totally agree. I never thought I'd say this, but I expect Okami to finish this fight with his newly learned knees.

I thinkboth fighters have a very good chance at winning here, but IMO it's like this: Yushin could win a UD with Sprawl and Jab, while Munoz could win with GNP. I will be rooting for Munoz all the way!
