Going home again. That could be the theme of “The "Ultimate Fighter Season 12” for Josh Koscheck if he is indeed chosen as a coach for the next season of the popular Spike TV reality show.

The American Kickboxing Academy welterweight got his start on the show five years ago, and if rumors stand true, the winner of the upcoming fight between Koscheck and British fighter Paul Daley could determine who will coach opposite UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

I'll puke if they do another USA vs. UK version of TUF.

Agreed. It's just a lame, unnecessary gimmick.

Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck would have two of the greatest sets of guest trainers that TUF ever has had though.

I'm still waiting for U.S. vs. Brazil. Thats what everyone has been wanting to see since the UFC started.

We see Brazilians fight Americans all the time.

I personally don't care to see it on TUF. Most of the Brazilians won't be able to speak the English language so it's not going to make for good TV.

GSP and Semtex would make a great show!

I'll puke if GSP is really the coach...Champions shouldnt be allowed to coach.

Honestly if Koscheck is going to be coach I would like to see Sanchez as the other coach.
-Rubbermatch
-Feud/Hatred for each other
-An entire training camp of 'YES-Cartwheels'

Then you could have winner of Fitch/Alves or Shields get the shot while Kos and Diego fight for the next shot...

Would you be turned off tto a USAvs Canada with Kos and GSP coaching? I'd dig it, Canada has a lot of untapped talent IMO.

Yes but we see people from other countries fight each other all the time to so if we go by that then we would never have a country vs county TUF again. I'm just going by what has always been anticipated and thats Brazil vs U.S.A. I'm sure they could find enough Brazilians that could speak English well enough to be on the show.

Personally i'm a bit sick of having fighters 'coaching' on TUF who have no coaching credentials.

How about the UFC do a season with actual coaches ? The likes of Greg Jackson, Mark Dellagrotte, Matt Hume, Bob Cook and Dave Camarillo all have the credentials and personality to make for a great season of TV.

Plus, we could actually see some coaches coaching, instead of breaking doors.

Bingo.

I'll sign up for that.

You're in luck, because no matter what you won't see that one, GSP is Canadian. (sorry for the sarcasm, couldn't help it.)

I think Kos would be an awesome coach against GSP. GSP seems like a very motivating figure, and I have this gut feeling that Kos would pull a Tito Ortiz and be one of the best coaches I've ever seen. I feel like this would be a dynamic season if they coached opposite each other, especially with Kos' ability to talk ****.

The whole country vs. country thing is a little retarded to me. If they absolutely insist on doing it I'd prefer them to pick two countries they haven't done before. Canada vs. Armenia or something crazy like that. It won't happen because the casual fan probably won't tune in if the U.S. isn't represented so I'm with Fleek, just bring in an amalgamation of fighters from all over the world and assign two coaches. Personally I'd like to see Lesnar and Velasquez do a show but I don't think either have enough wisdom to impart to make it worth the fighters times. Not unless they brought in solid coaches with them.
