Two weeks after Strikeforce officials first announced their intentions to hold a rare mid-week fight card in Los Angeles, the promotion has now released the first three fighters that will appear at the event. Bobby Lashley, Robbie Lawler and K.J. Noons will all fight on the Showtime-broadcast portion of "Strikeforce: Los Angeles," which takes place on Wednesday, June 16, at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Opponents for all three fighters will be named at a later date. The Nokia Theatre has a capacity of 7100.

I am excited to see all three fighters return to the cage. Hopefully Strikeforce will find some good opponents for them. Lashley needs a test, Lawler needs a high ranked opponent and Noons needs a decent opponent as well. Henderson would have been a good opponent for Lawler but he just fought. We will see what Strikeforce throws together.

Hopefully strikeforce can find them suitable opponents. Finding opponents at the same level is hard to do in strikeforce because their divisions still are not deep enough.

lawler vs mayhem looks like a nice fight if they can make it unless they are resting mayhem until Shields can fight again

Lashley will get someone better in the HW division.
Lawler vs Miller
Noons vs Evangelista

Josh Thomson is set to fight on the June 26th show in his hometown of San Jose Ca. Per his Facebook status update yesterday.

I hope they co promote with dream and bring Crusher or Hansen over.
