If I am attending a live event then I want the ring so I can see the action better. If I am watching on TV then I don't care since the cameras take care of my view.

i was always more of a pride fan because cage is an advantage to wrestlers while ring is a little bit more old school and is in favor of stand up. pride is known for more stand up's then ufc.

with a ring a fighter cant just drag another fighter into the fense and pound away. and ring is a little easier to see the fights in if you are in the crowd. other then that dont care much.

Also would like cage more if they allowed stand up guys to hold on to the fense then to prevent being taken down since it is ok to push someone against it in order to take them down.

Ring all the way!!!

I still think the cage seems more barbaric. I don't like the cage and never will. It's more condusive to boring fighters that are great grapplers. I like strikers and strikers like rings.

HERE IT IS

USA UFC KEEP THE CAGE
PRIDE JAPS KEEP THE RING TO THEM IT WOULD BE LIKE ENCLOSING A BASEBALL FIELD AND MAKING IT KICKBALL RULES....WAIT THAN I MAY WATCH BASEBALL(THANKS GEORGE CARLIN)

PERSONALLY I WOULD RATHER HAVE THE FIGHT KEEP GOING AGAINST THE CAGE RATHER THAN THE FIGHT STOPPED CAUSE THE GUYS HEAD IS LAYING ON BAS RUTTEN LAP

While I realize the advantages of a Cage keeping the action in the center, I'd like Pride to keep its ring. If it were up to me, I'd try to make it so that each fight alternates between a Ring and a Cage to mix things up.

I think the cage adds a good gladiator feelto the fight. The ring is a traditional place but the cage gives it a more ominious feeling like there is some bad shit about to happen.

I like the ring for the open view, but the cage for all other reasons ( less interferance, no getting away by tucking under the ropes and others) Overall the cage.

i like the cage more. there is less time waisted standing the fighters up when they are at risk of falling out of the ring. and i also like how the cage is used in people strategies and defenses.

I prefer the cage its more exciting with the gladiator feel to it plus the fight doesnt get stopped as much. I prefer the good old octagon.
