And to rub it in even further, Ricardo Mayorga says that he's going to KO Thomas in the first 5 minutes of their fight. The boxer faces Thomas on 5/15 and is very confident going in, even saying he's the superior fighter.

i read what ya'll wrote..but some fighters don't think like that..yeah he SHOULD take him down to the ground and get to work..but he recently said that he's not afraid to stand and trade with Mayorga..so Mayorga has a chance to ko him in the first..this fight is a toss up to me..since Din said that i'm not sure if he'll take Mayorga down..maybe after he gets cracked a few times..but one of those might end his night...

i read that too that's why i'm saying...he needs to get this fight to the ground as quick as possible. men have egos..want to prove themselves etc. trying to stand w/Mayorga would be a huge mistake. That being said...if he could win on the feet that'd be dope!

Din needs to take him down and mess Mayorga's face up with punches, elbows and then choke him the **** out for what he just said.
**** standing with him, that would be playing into Mayorga's game. This is MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, gotta be smart in these fights.

If anyone brings family into it then they deserve whatever punishment the offended decide to dish out. This is one of the rare cases where I would like to see a fighter get injured badly (career ending) in a fight.

He better KO him in the first 5 minutes or after that Din could probably stand with a gassed Mayorga and just control him like Oscar and Tito did to a gassed Mayorga til he finishes him. I say in the 1st round, Din shows him real MMA by putting him against the cage or taking him down and beating him in the body until he wears down. Then in the 2nd he could try to stand with the gassed Mayorga who he might be able to stand with by then but still a huge risk with Mayorgas wild power.
Wouldnt mind Mayorga winning kinda rootin for him but I think Thomas might get rocked but should still pick up the W as long as he doesn't stand with him in the 1st which might be why he gets knocked down. Hopefully not out.
